A Scalable Income

When I joined Forever, I was working fifty to sixty hours a week. I was feeling guilty about not seeing my little boy and the fact that he was in nursery fulltime. I also didn’t have very many friends my own age because I didn’t have the time to prioritise building those relationships. I was pregnant with my second child during Covid and being forced to isolate from my family to protect my health, whilst also looking after a one-year-old, was the hardest thing I have ever done - it really affected my mental health. Then while I was on my second maternity leave, I found out my current role was being made redundant.

Owning my own business has always been a dream of mine and I needed some extra money so I could take a full year off on maternity leave. Along with the products, what caught my interest was the fact that I could scale my income to whatever I desired. When I looked into what the products contain and the awards they have won, I had no doubt I could work with Forever.

My journey so far has been incredible, I have made so many friends which has ended up being the best part about joining Forever. I had never used the products before and have been amazed at the change in mine and my family’s health as a result. I have been wowed by the generosity of the company and the events they put on. I really like the fact that it’s a family run business that clearly cares about its employees and Business Owners - it feels like one big family!

In the beginning, I didn’t think I would be any good at selling and I had no idea who was going to buy from me. I also had no presence on social media and didn’t know the first thing about starting a business online. Thankfully Forever has a great network of leaders that teach you the skills required to build a consistent income over time. I now have a regular set of customers and an online following on Instagram which I never thought I would achieve.

I was also concerned that I wouldn’t have the time to start a business but then I realised if you really want something, if you really crave the change for yourself and your family, you will find the pockets of time to change your life. The key is not to overthink things, just do it. By listening to your mentors, learning the skills required and consistently showing up and you will build the business you desire.

To have the flexibility to work my business around my family and current commitments has been priceless. I can build my business when it’s convenient for me without interfering with my family life. Now I’m working significantly less hours than I was, meaning I get to spend more time with my two children and reduce those nursery costs. I use my evenings when the children are in bed to work on my business rather than watching the TV. I have also made some lifelong friends with women like me, and I get the opportunity to have some fun and time for myself which I wasn’t doing before.

My focus right now is to keep sharing my journey and what this business can do for people. My goal when I joined was simply to supplement my income and improve my work/ life balance. After a year of working with this company my goal is definitely to make this my full-time income so I can, hand on heart, say I enjoy doing what I do every single day. My children drive me to get out of bed every morning and work hard to give them the life they deserve and to show them what hard work can bring.

I’m inspired by watching others succeed and change their lives. When I hear other people’s incredible stories, it spurs me on to do more and dream big! I’m excited about the future because I can see the direction I’m going, and I know in my heart that Forever is where I belong. I’m also excited to watch my children grow up and change, they are now one and three, and every day they do something new that makes me smile!
